On Tuesday, February 6th, Zoe Ann Rohm has passed on after a battle with Leukemia. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Zoe Ann was a pillar in the lives of everyone she met. Those blessed to know her would describe her as kind, thoughtful, philanthropic, and selfless.
Born October 22, 1938, Zoe Ann became a self-made woman as she grew and worked in a time when women often were expected to be in the home. She received her degree in Accounting while working full-time and acting as a single mother. She became one of the first female accounting managers for the state of Maryland and spent the rest of her life fighting and contributing to women’s and animal rights. She remained very active until her passing at 85, with a litany of friends and social groups she belonged to.
She is survived by her son Ken and daughter-in-law Colleen, her grandchildren Kathi and Kelli, and her great-grandchildren Tiana, Kylie, and Gavin. She is also survived by her nieces Carol and Belinda and nephew Kevin.
The viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 14th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Ambrose Funeral Home in Arbutus. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 15th at 11:30 at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, we ask those wishing to pay respects to Zoe Ann to please donate to the Baltimore Humane Society.
