Woneta Smith

Woneta Helen Smith, age 86, passed away on July 6, 2019 in Baltimore, Maryland. Woneta was born on December 19, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Lillian Francis (nee Doerr) and to the late Wallace Francis. She is the beloved wife of the late Nelson Smith; loving mother of Philip C. Orem, Sr. and his wife Janet, Darla Dorn and her husband Bart, Robert Orem and his wife JoAnn, Michael Orem, and the late Vince Krausman, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Phil, Jr., Darla, Danny, Justin and the late Douglas, and great grandmother of several grandchildren; dear sister of Mary Byrd, Allen Francis and preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will honor Woneta’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE with a public viewing on Wednesday, 7/10/2019 from 3pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Thursday, 7/11/2019 beginning at 12noon. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
