On July 10, 2018, Warren "Woe" Rubeling passed away. He was the beloved husband of Carol Rubeling; devoted father of Chris Rubeling and his wife Denise; cherished grandfather of Abbey & Aaron; dear brother-in-law of Betty Cauthorn, Will Frey, & Sharon Frey; & loving cousin of Carol "Carolinamoon" Benny and Jimmy Hackley. Woe is also lovingly survived by many relatives & numerous good friends.
Woe had many passions, one of which was photography. He was the picture taker and often absent from many group pictures. We can have peace knowing he was there, just, behind the camera. He could be found taking pictures of anything, perhaps a location on his way home just because it "looked good" He also loved cars and trucks, and; as happy as he was behind the camera, he was just as happy behind the wheel. His escape from the everyday though, was the beach. He loved the beach. It was calming and a sight for sore eyes. Vacations with friends and family will always be a cherished memory. Woe was one-of-a-kind and for those who were lucky enough to know him, he will be sorely missed.
Family members and friends will gather at the Arbutus location on Sulphur Spring Road on Tuesday July 17th from 3-5 & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 18th at 10AM at St. Benedict's Catholic Church. 2612 Wilkens Ave. Baltimore, MD 21223. Inurnment will immediately follow in the New Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Woe's name to St. Benedict's Church Pantry at: 2612 Wilkens Avenue Baltimore, MD 21223
