William "Bill" Kemp, Jr.

Peacefully on May 20, 2022 William Morris Kemp, Jr., passed away. Affectionately known as "Bill," he was the beloved husband of the late Marcia Kemp; loving father of Jeanne Weidman, William Morris Kemp, III (Sue), Stephen Douglas Kemp (Lucy Hill), Dina Kephart (Russ), & Dana Shoemaker; father-in-law of Terry Sann; cherished grandfather of  Mindy Merlo (Kevin), Spenser Weidman, Melia Gladfelter (Ryan), Dustin Kephart (Liz), Chris Kephart, Shaina Shoemaker, Shane Shoemaker & great-grandfather of Reid and Allison Merlo, Roman Gladfelter & Alayna Shoemaker; dear brother of Nancy Goldstein (Barry) and David Satterfield (Elizabeth); he is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. Bill will always be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to love and know him.

Family members and friends will gather to celebrate Bill’s life with a memorial service on Friday, June 17th at 10am in our Arbutus location. An inurnment will immediately follow in the Loudon Park Cemetery.
