William Zappie

William F. Zappie, age 88, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2017. He was born on May 16, 1929 to the late Rockie W. and Anna Zappie. He is the beloved husband of the late Cecilia D. Zappie; devoted father of Kathleen A. Wood, Donna M. Kaler and her husband Dennis, Anita L. Stachorowski and her husband Bill, and Janet L. Davis and her husband Gary; cherished grandfather of Kathleen Howard, Lisa Wood, Keith Kaler, Cecilia Lizer, Melanie Black, Will Stachorowski, Stacy Rand, and Marta Stachorowski; dear great grandfather of 10 great grandchildren; loving brother of Robert Zappie, Eleanor Segeleone, and the late Rockie Zappie, Jr..

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10am followed by burial at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in William's memory to the American Heart Association.
