William Holmes

William David Holmes, age 92, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021. He is the beloved husband of Rose Holmes; cherished father of Rose Plitt, Patricia Acree, and Gordon Holmes; cherished grandfather of Laura Plitt and her husband Andrew Fickinger, Amy Plitt, Tina Acree, James Acree, John Acree, Jennifer Tuck and her husband Nathan, Josh Holmes, and Joe Holmes; great grandfather of Dennis McGuirk, Kyrie Tuck, Katrina Tuck, and Lily Holmes; also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus MD 21227 on Saturday at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in William’s memory to the Salvation Army.
