William Brown, Sr.

William Edward Brown, Sr., age 88, passed away on January 12, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Bill or pop as he was affectionately called by his family and friends was the beloved husband of the late Charlotte Brown for 60 yrs. He is the loving father of Linda Anzengruber and her husband Richard, William E. Brown, Jr. and his wife Debbie, Dennis E. Brown and his wife Natalie, George J. Brown and Cathy, and Tina Smith and her husband Dorsey; cherished grandfather and great grandfather of many. Dear brother of Mimsey Ross and her husband Francis. Also survived by many friends.

Bill had a great sense of humor. He loved Elvis Presley, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and Crab Cakes. His favorite movie was the Body Guard. Bill would often go to the Silver Spring Mining company Pub to watch the Ravens game. To know Bill was to love Bill. He will forever be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Family members and friends will honor bill’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE AND CREMATION SERVICES,PA, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, Maryland 21227 with a public viewing on Sunday, 1/17 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Monday, 1/18 beginning at 11am. Interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
