Wesley Corbin

Wesley, Wes, Pop, Uncle Jr. lived a full life surrounded by countless family and friends that loved him dearly. He was a WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War Veteran with over 35 years of active duty and reserve duty for the United States Army. He loved to drive and was a proud trucker for many years, even working for Enterprise into his early 80s. He was a devoted member of the American Legion Dewey Post 109 and spent countless hours cooking in the kitchen and volunteering his time. He loved to spend time playing cards with his family and friends, hosting great parties and open houses and making delicious food for his family. He made countless life long friendships. We will all miss his mischievous nature, vivacious personality, fabulous dancing and home cooked meals.

Wes is the beloved husband of the late Irma and Dottie; loving father of the late Thomas Corbin, Sr.; cherished grandfather of Shannon Logue and her husband Joel, Tom Corbin, Jr., and Amanda Corbin; great grandfather of Kayla, Kaira, Allie, & Tavon.  He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will gather in the Lansdowne location on Hammonds Ferry Road on Sunday from 3-5 &7-9PM where a funeral service will be held at 10AM on Monday.  Interment will immediately follow in the Meadowridge Memorial Park.
