Wayne Michael Coolahan was born on December 9, 1960 In Baltimore, Maryland. He was one of two children. Wayne was a huge nature person. Birds, fish, flowers and trees were his passion. Wayne was known for planting trees and flowers. He was an avid fish breeder and would sit for hours in front of his fish tank watching and waiting patiently for his fish to give birth. He liked to cook and his favorite meal to prepare was spaghetti. But, he also couldn’t do without his steak. Wayne was an avid Baltimore Raven fan who loved the color purple. He loved being around children. He loved celebrating every holiday. Lastly, his favorite quote and what he was always known to say was “I’ll be there in just a minute”.

Wayne, age 54, passed away on August 15, 2015 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by his wife Marie Joann Coolahan; beloved mother Shirley Ann Coolahan; loving children Kimberly Ann Joyave and her husband Shawn Anthony Joyave, Lisa Marie Coolahan, Wayne Michael Coolahan, Jr. and Amy Lynn Coolahan; cherished grandchildren Shawn Anthony Joyave, Jr., Mercedes Lynn Joyave, Brandon Anthony Joyave, Ayden Richard Carper, Logan Michael Coolahan, Neveah Marie Coolahan, Emanuel Leon Warren and Dejah Marie Warren. Wayne is preceded in death by his dear sister Susan Ann Coolahan. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will honor Wayne’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, Maryland 21227  with a public viewing on Tuesday, August 18th where a funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 19th beginning at 11AM. Interment to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
