On March 24th, 2023, Walter “Pete” LeCompte, III passed away peacefully in his home. Born on December 7th, 1949 to the late Zelma LeCompte Kiessling and Walter “Trix” LeCompte, II. He was a one of a kind father to Danielle Harrington and her husband Timothy Harrington Sr.; loving Pop-Pop to Owen, Taylor, TJ, Delilah, Emberly, and the late Maela; goofy and loving brother to Sandy. Pete was also survived by loving family members Lynn Petterson and Heather Jackson.
Pete was a Vietnam Veteran, 101st Airborne Division. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending his time with family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Saturday, April 1st, from 12 PM to 2 PM. A memorial service will immediately begin at 2 PM.
