Walter Bavis
April 25, 1929 — June 13, 2015
On June 13th, 2015, Walter W. Bavis passed away. He was the loving husband of Jeannette Bavis; devoted father of Kenneth Bavis, Dawn Cain, and the late Harry Bavis, Michael Bavis, and David Bavis; cherished grandfather of Danielle, Chelsea, Cody, and 3 great grandchildren; and dear brother of Shirley, William, and the late Carol and Donald. Walter is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Tuesday, June 16th from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17th at 10 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walter's name to Autism Society, 4340 East-West Highway, Ste. 350, Bethesda, MD 20814.
