Vera Lucille Hayes

On July 23d, Vera Lucille Hayes passed away. Born to the late Charles Otto Wachter and the late Florence Wachter in Baltimore, MD, Vera was the faithful wife of the late Mervin Hayes; loving mother of Kevin Hayes and wife Suzanne, and Charles K. Hayes and wife Claire; beloved grandmother of Christopher Hayes and late wife Molly and Emily Kivi and husband Keith; cherished great-grandmother of Hannah Kivi, Liam Hayes, and Lindsay Kivi; and dearest sister to the late Charles Wachter and the late Ednamae Ring. Vera is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Tuesday, July 25, from 4pm-6pm, at Ambrose Funeral Home in Arbutus, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, Arbutus, MD 21227. There will be a funeral service directly after starting at 6pm at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
