Thomas "Tom" Ohler

Thomas Walter Ohler, 73, of Arbutus, Maryland passed away on January 6, 2022.   He was born on January 25, 1948 and remained a proud Arbutus resident his entire life.   As a teenager, Tom met the love of his life, Shirley and they married on September 7, 1968.  They were blessed with two sons, Todd and Grant.  Tom grew up learning his family’s trade and eventually branched out to run his own successful plumbing business.  He passed his gift onto his son, Grant and they worked together for many years.  Tom and Shirley loved the mountains and built a second home in West Virginia where they loved to be with family.  His family meant everything to him and anyone who knew Tom could attest to his dedication and commitment to them.

Tom is proceeded in death by his parents, Ivan and Ivena Ohler; his wife, Shirley Ohler and his son, Grant Ohler.   Tom is survived by his son, Todd Ohler; two granddaughters, Kaia and Jayda Ohler; a brother, Richard (Lucille) Ohler; an aunt, Jenny Ohler, as well as many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
