Peacefully on February 8, 2017 Thomas E. Lester, Sr. passed away. Tom was beloved husband of Joan Patricia Lester; the loving father of Trinita Duncan and her late husband Richard, Amy Leaf and her husband Louie, Wanda Hartley and her husband Jonathan "Pepper", Patrick Lester and his wife Laurie, Bonnie Coughlin and her husband Scott, and the late Thomas Lester, Jr. and his widow Dorothy; Tom was the cherished "Pop Pop" of Richard Duncan, Elizabeth Hartley, Timothy Duncan, Zachary Hartley, Samantha Lester, Thomas Lester, III, Kathleen Skeen, Leah Melton, Brennen Lester, Donovan Lester, Felicity Coughlin, & Ethan Coughlin; he was the "Big Pop" of Alanah, Abagail, Annabelle, Isabella, Chloe, & Alexander Duncan, Piper Skeen, Shelby Tormollan, Lennon Hartley, Austin Duncan, Matthew Skeen, & Shane Tormollan; and he was the dear brother of Dick Lester and his late wife Audrey.
Relatives and friends may call at the Brewer Hall at the Church of the Ascension, 4601 Maple Avenue Halethorpe, MD 21227, on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 13, 2017 starting at 10:00 am. Interment will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, 1:00 pm, in the Maryland Veteran's Cemetery at Garrison Forest.
