Theresa Hewitt

Theresa Marie Hewitt (nee Griffin), age 75, passed away on July 9, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Ethel Griffin, husband George Hewitt, Sr., sister Mary Paula Scanlon, brother Carol Griffin, nephew Gilbert S. Dettmer, Jr., and niece Phyllis Dettmer. Theresa is the cherished mother of George Hewitt, Jr. and his wife Renee; loving sister of Margaret Dettmer and her late husband Gilbert S. Dettmer, Sr.; caring aunt of Theresa Greenberg and her husband Eric, Sharon Tringali and her husband Thomas, Michael Blaine Dettmer and his wife Dana, Paula Cooper and her husband Howard, and Bernard Sturm. Theresa is also survived by her dear friend Tim Kraft and many other loving relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 2-6pm with a funeral service at 4pm.
