Shirley May Shriner (nee Thompson, born January 29, 1935), died peacefully on December 2, 2022 at the home of her daughter Lisa and son-in-law Steve.
She was the daughter of Benjamin Frederick (Freddy) and Ruth Thompson, and the widow of William E. Hall, Sr. and later of George Shriner.
She was predeceased by her brothers Sonny, Will and Tom Thompson and sister Ruth Dolle, as well as her youngest son, Scott Allen Hall.
She is survived by her sister Phyllis and children Deborah (Vic) Weidman, William Hall, Mary Lou Netherton, Lisa (Steve) Taylor, James Christopher (JC) Hall, Janice Castranda, Arlene (Laura) Hall and Julie (Jim) Carnaggio; as well as step-sons Ron and Tom Shriner.
She also is survived by many grandchildren: Kira, Emily (Alex), Justin (Stacy), Stephen (Natasha), Lucas (Alyson), Sarah (Justin), Michael, Catherine, Kyle (Danielle), and Kayla (Bruce); and many Great Grandchildren: Cole, Anna, Kylee, Landon, Seth, Kiki, Wylder, Vivi Ann, Blaire, Brinley, Rosemary and Carter.
Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends will remember her lovingly.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, Arbutus, Baltimore on December 14, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Interment will take place on December 15, 2022 at 10am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD beside her first husband William and son Scott.
