Shirley Shreves

On August 16th, 2022, Shirley F. Shreves passed away. Born on August 29th, 1940 to the late Gladys and late William Sturgill, she was the loving wife of the late Billy Shreves; caring mother of Judy Shreves & the late Dotty Shreves; dear sister of Lester Sturgill and his wife Margaret, John Sturgill, the late Billie J. Terry; loving sister-in-heart Patsy Schrock; caring grandmother of Crystal, Lucky, the late Ancil (Peanut), Edward, Doyle, Christopher, & Jamie; cherished aunt of Peggy Abrams, Shirley Hernandez, Bobbie S., Sandra, Jason, and the late Glinda; dear half-sister of Ancil Tony Hamrick. Also survived by many friends and loved ones.

A public viewing will be held at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Monday, August 22nd from 5 PM to 7 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
