Shirley Norman

Sadly, on May 10, 2021, Shirley Mae Norman (nee Schultheis) passed into the loving hands of God. Shirley was married to Edwin W. Norman, Sr. known as “Sonny”. She was born on March 6, 1935 to her parents John Schultheis and Erma Wright.

Shirley was known for her kind heart and personal compassion which was passed to her surviving children Edwin W. Norman and Terry Elizabeth Norman. She is preceded in death by her sister Louise Robey and surviving sister Susan Myers; her daughter in law Kathleen and her grandchild Christopher also survive her.

At Bons Secours Hospital, Shirley worked in the Dietary Department for many years. She was a devoted wife to “Sonny”, the love of her life. Shirley enjoyed her home and those who visited her. Little decorations, treats, and crafts were placed throughout her home giving it a warm and tender atmosphere. There wasn’t a day she didn’t think about her children and those she cherished. Shirley made family events special. We will miss her kindness, her love, and her devotion. She is home.

Children and animals were Shirley’s greatest love. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, an animal shelter, or your favorite charity in her name. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date. Interment will be private.
