Peacefully on March 2, 2015, Shirley F. French (nee Alvey), born in Baltimore Maryland on March 4, 1939, was the beloved wife for 45 years to Joseph W. French, Jr.; loving mother of Michelle (and her husband Chad) Marie French Keim, the late Joey Mark French; devoted grandmother of Deacon Ryan, and Campbell Miller, dear sister of Gloria Holt, Joseph Alvey, Jr., the late Doris Flavin, John Alvey, James Alvey, and Raymond Alvey; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Family members and friends may visit at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc. 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. on Saturday from 7-9, and Sun 3-5 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at the Church of the Ascension 4606 Poplar Ave, in Halethorpe on Monday at 10am. Interment following at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
