On September 27, 2013 SAMUEL W. WOOD passed away. He was the beloved husband to wife Kathleen of 50 years. Samuel was the father of 5 loving children Melanie & Joe Matthews, Ruth Gambino/Bill Beyers, Jane & Phil Dailey, Derek & Sherrie Wood, and Heather Keller. He was the cherished grandfather to 12 grandchildren Justin, Anthony, Katie, Jessica, Mason, Samantha, Michael, Megan, Amanda, Samuel, David, Jason. Samuel was the cherished great-grandfather of 2 great-grandbabies Aaliyah & Adalyn. He is also survived by loving sister Lamar Wood of Georgia & loyal friend George Cannon. Samuel is also survived by numerous other loving family members & friends.
Relatives & friends may call at our ARBUTUS location on Sunday between 3-5PM & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at Our Lady of the Angel Catholic Church, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228, beginning at 1PM. Interment will be PRIVATE.
