Salvatore Prete, Sr.

On January 22nd, 2021, Salvatore Joseph Prete, Sr. passed away. Born on April 20th, 1944 to the late Minnie and late Salvadore Prete, Sammy was the loving husband of Luetta "Kitty" Prete; devoted father of Dawn Basso and husband Michael, Salvatore Joseph Prete, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Zachary Basso, Trevor Basso, and his grandpup Charley; dear brother of Ralph Prete and wife Patricia, Tommy and wife Bobbie, Elaina Wilhelm, and late husband Robert, Charles Prete and wife Gail. He was also survived by many other family and friends.

Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Tuesday, January 26th from 5 PM to 7 PM, a funeral service will be held following the viewing but is private. Interment will be held at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, January 27th at 12 PM. Those who wish to ride in procession to Crest Lawn on Wednesday are to meet at the funeral home at 11 AM.
