Ruth Smith

On August 14th, 2017, Ruth Maxine Smith passed away. She was the loving wife of the late Ira A. Smith; devoted mother of George Allen Smith and his wife Linda, Ardelia Maxine Borman (Tom Uebel), Ruth Althea Cohen and her husband Alex, Charles Samuel Smith and his wife Barbara, Ira Malcolm Smith and his wife Edna; cherished grandmother of Lisa Callahan, George Smith, Jr., Kimberly Gordon, Jeff Borman, Jennifer Cohen, Faith Antley, Stephen Cohen, Megan Stacy, Shelby Bussey, Cody Smith, Skye Smith, Lucas Doyle, and Dalton Doyle; loving great grandmother Sallie Hott, Justin Ohl, Jeremy Borman, Charleigh Stacy, Kaitlyn Wallace, and Johnathan Wallace; cherished great great grandmother of David Hott, Matthew Hott, Cayden Byers, and Noah Colandrea; and dear sister of Juanita Bell Smith.

Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Thursday, August 17th form 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. Additional viewing will be held at Catonsville Baptist Church, 1004 Frederick Rd. on Friday, August 18th from 11 AM to 12 PM, at which a funeral service will promptly begin.
