Ruth Monroe

Peacefully on March 2, 2018 Ruth E Monroe passed away. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Donald Lee Monroe, Sr.; the loving mother of Donald L. Monroe, Jr. & his wife Sharon, Katherine Patterson & her husband Jack, Lita Shaw, Sylvia Monroe, Rhonda Haughie, the late James D. Monroe, the late Stephen Monroe, & the late Brenda Monroe; she was the cherished "Gran" of Donald Monroe III, Heather Long, Crystal Scherer, Jason Perrodin, Brittany Perrodin, Gary Monroe, Brian Monroe, Rachel Scherer, Shawn Haughie, Amanda Louck, Ashley Haughie, & the late William Monroe; Ruth is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; and she was the dear sister of the late Harold Gerlack, the late William Gerlack, & the late Charles Gerlack.

Relatives and friends may call at the family owned & operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Where a funeral service for Ruth will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 starting at 11 am. Interment will immediately follow services in the Loudon Park Cemetery on Wilkens Ave. At Ruth's Family's request donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
