On February 4, 2017, Ruth Beatrice France (nee Bayne), 87, of Glenarm, MD died at Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Lawrence Albert Bayne and Sarah Beatrice Bayne (nee Hagelin). Devoted wife, of 57 years, of Wilmer Harvey “Tommy” France, who died in 2006. Mother of Barbara Ann Varga, Steve H. France (Carol), and Nancy McIntyre. Loving grandmother of Jessica McGee, PhD (Jason), Richard France (Katie), Stacy Wagaman (Jeff), Patrick Varga (Emily), and Kimberly MacNelly. Six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Survived by her brother Albert “Buddy” Bayne (Ruth). Predeceased by her brother Charles L. Bayne (Sue). Survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 9th from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM at Ambrose Funeral Home, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Lansdowne, MD 21227. Funeral service at 10:00 AM Friday, February 10th at funeral home. Interment to follow at Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Avenue, Parkville, MD 21234. Donations to charity of your choice.
