Russell Marriott

Russell Gordon Marriott, age 82, born January 10, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Mary Agnes Marriott (nee Shanahan) and to the late Russell Hamilton Marriott suddenly passed away on March 5, 2020. He is the beloved husband of Carol Marriott for 54 years; devoted father of Kenneth and his wife Adel S. Marriott; dear brother of Roger Marriott and his wife Joyce, Rosemary Beeman and Alice Jean Delancey. Russell is also survived by nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.

Russell was in the Air Force from April 28,1956 to February 28,1958. After discharge he study for his GED and received it.He then attended RETS Electronic School upon graduation he worked for Montgomery Ward then Nurad and retired from Honeywell in 2008.

He was a long time member of Halethorpe-Relay UMC Church and he was a long time choir member and a member of the Methodist Men. He loved old movies and Mickey Mouse. Most of he loved the Lord.

Family members and friends will honor Russell life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC. (Arbutus) with a public viewing on Thursday, 3/12/2020 from 3pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Friday, 3/13/2020 beginning at 11am. Interment to follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
