Rose Daehnke

Rose Marie Daehnke, age 91, was called home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2019. Rose was born on December 18, 1927 in Jamestown, New York to the late Agnes Margaret Machovec (nee Bucklaew) and to the late Donald Anthony Lobell. She was the beloved wife of the late William James Daehnke;
loving mother of Joyce Ann Lobell Galway (nee Daehnke) and her fiance’ Jack White, James William Daehnke, the late Thomas Donald Daehnke, and the late Anthony Stephen Daehnke; cherished grandmother (Nona) of David Blizzard and his wife Rachel, Jennifer Johnson (nee Lucke) and her husband Eric, and Christie Wroten( nee Lucke); proud great-grandmother of Brooke Blizzard, Dustyn Blizzard, Justice Blizzard, Skylar Blizzard, Ryan Johnson, Gunnar Goldman, Destani Ali (nee Wroten) and her husband Mohsin, Chyenne Wroten, and Cody Wroten, and great-great-grandmother of Zarina, Sabrina and Zoya; dear sister of the late Betty Jane Diehl (nee Lobell); caring aunt of Margaret Zellers, Paulette Winter- Davis, Margie St. Clair, Michael Daehnke and Janet Hammes; and loyal friend to many.

Family members and friends will honor Rose’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE with a public visitation on Tuesday, 12/3/2019 from 5pm-7pm where a memorial service will follow the same evening beginning at 7pm. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers donations in Rose's memory may be made to your favorite charity.
