Ronald Joseph Ziegler, Sr.

Ronald Joseph Ziegler, Sr., age 86, sadly passed away on August 17, 2023. Ronald was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Leo Ziegler, Sr. and the late Julia Rose Ziegler (nee Wortman). He is the beloved husband of Nellie Ziegler; loving father of Elizabeth Ziegler, Ronald Ziegler, Jr., and the late Emanuel Ziegler; cherished grandfather of Ronald, Brittany, Emanuel, Patience, and Deston; dear great-grandfather of Peyton, Dakota, Michael, Joseph, Aurora, Luna, and Madilyn; caring brother of Emanuel, the late Doris, the late Mae, and the late Leo. Ronald is also survived by many other loved ones including Bobbi, Leah, Michelle, Charles, Misty, Katie, Mike, Emily, and Matt. Ronald was a friend to all man and nature with a life long passion of pigeons.

Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Tuesday, August 22 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 23 at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
