Ron Hayes

Ronald Harris Hayes, age 76, sadly passed away on January 6, 2021. Ron was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Harry F. Hayes & the late Maxine Lorraine Hayes (nee Shambaugh). Ron lived a fulfilling life as a father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  Ron spent most of his childhood in Paw Paw, West Virginia.  The family eventually moved back to Baltimore where Ron married Janet Hayes (Tyransky).

He is the beloved father of Ronda Thomas and Alicia Wink; loving grandfather of Jacob Thomas, Lance Berkeridge, Luke Thomas, Natalia Wink, Tristan Wink and Jenavieve Wink; cherished brother of Shirley Michals, the late Patricia Fields, the late Frances Miller, and the late James Hayes.  Ron is survived by 16 nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Wednesday, January 13th from 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Thursday, January 14th at 4:00PM. If you’re wishing to make a donation, the family requests donations be made in Ron’s name to the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
