Roland "Butch" Schmelyun, Jr.

Roland “Butch” C. Schmelyun, Jr., age 62, suddenly passed away on December 23, 2020. Butch was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Roland C. Schmelyun, Sr. & the late Doris M. Schmelyun (nee Hoffman). He loved working with his hands, and working with his son Charlie. He really enjoyed going to the casino, and him and his wife Bonnie would go to Lancaster every year for their anniversary. He loved his daughter and son, his grand babies. He truly loved his Buttons. He treated her like our baby. He was a true Saint. There is not a person that he would not help.

Butch is the beloved husband of Bonnie Schmelyun; loving father of Charlie Schmelyun (Kris) & Pam Schmelyun; cherished grandfather of Hannah Schmelyun, Lily Schmelyun, & Liam Schmelyun; dear brother of Dave, Gloria, Brenda, & Sandy; caring son-in-law of JoAnn Tasker; cherished brother-in-law of Connie, JoAnn, William, & Roy. Butch is also survived by his beloved dog Buttons along with many other loving family & friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
