Roger Hockey

Roger Hockey, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family & friends on January 21, 2020. Roger was born in Queens, New York to the late Francis & the late Margaret Hockey. He joined the U.S. Navy & served from 1961-1965. Roger is survived by his wife, Karen Hockey; loving father of Kim Hockey Marino & her husband Michael Marino, Kevin Thomas Hockey & his wife Sharolyn Hockey, & Jennifer Hockey Soddu & her husband Victor Soddu; dear brother of Thomas William Hockey, Frances Brown, & Margaret Pujo; cherished grandfather of Kari, Heather, Samantha, Jason, Anthony, & Dominic; caring great-grandfather of Kyleigh, Avery, Lilly, Ella, Grayson, & Avery. Roger is also survived by many other loving family & friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Arbutus United Methodist Church, 1201 Maple Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Friday, February 7 at 10 AM. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held at Arbutus Community Association Town Hall, 1349 Stevens Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227 following the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made in Roger’s name to Not Forgotten Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, or Gilchrist Hospice.
