Robert M. Davis, Sr., age 86, passed away on November 15, 2016 In Baltimore, Maryland. He was born on November 2, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert Mervin Davis and Mary Clare Davis (nee Priester). He is the beloved husband of Joan E. Davis; loving father of Robert M. Davis, Jr. and his wife Toni, William C. Davis and his wife Barbara, and Gary K. Davis and his wife Janet; cherished grandfather of Beth, Melanie, Stacy, William Clarence and the late Robert, III and David. Also, survived by his brother and sister, William and his wife Jean and, Mary.
Family members and friends will honor Robert’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Sunday with a public viewing from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday at Lansdowne United Methodist Church, 114 Lavern Ave., Lansdowne, MD beginning at 11am. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
