On July 20, 2014 Charles R. McDonald, Sr. passed away. "Rich" was the beloved husband of Pearl M. McDonald (nee Robey); the loving father of Brenda Bailey, Carol Swec, Charles R. McDonald, Jr., and Susan Kandel; cherished "Pop" of Michelle T., Kristi G., Charles III, and Brittany S.; he was the great-grandfather of Corinne, Erin, and Megan; and he was also survived by his sister Thelma Shipley and many other loving family members and friends.
Relatives and friends may call at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm and Friday from 10-11 am. Where funeral services will also be held on Friday 11am. Interment to immediately follow services in the Loudon Park Cemetery, Wilkens Ave. At the family's request, donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society 8219 Town Center Drive Baltimore, MD 21236.
