On Saturday, December 18, 2021, Richard "Spanky" Harris, 47, of Manchester, MD (formerly of Lansdowne, MD) passed away peacefully at home. He was the devoted son of Carolyn and Bob Jackson, loving brother of Kirsten Dymczenski and her husband Mark (his brother from another mother) and the late Ellen Benner (Sissy). He was the caring uncle of Jenn Snider and her husband, Mike; Abigail Dymczenski and Madeline Dymczenski and great uncle of Noah Wilson, Ellie Snider and Marshall Snider. He loved his grandparents with all of his heart and was devastated by their passings. Surviving also are his aunt Catherine Konerth (92 years young), cousins, other family members, a host of friends and two very special friends.
His loss is immeasurable. What a swell human being and a fun person to be around—he was always the clown. His body is gone but his spirit will live in the memories of those who loved him. Fly high, Rich. We hope you are dancing in the sky.
The family would like to especially thank the staff of Bridging Life Hospice Care: his nurse - Jenny, chaplain - Susan and social worker - Renee.
