Raine Shipley
December 2, 1925 — January 9, 2018
On January 9th, 2018, Mildred Lorraine "Raine" Shipley passed away. She is survived by her brothers, John Phillips, James David and William Preston; sister, Alice Germuth; nieces, Holly Woerner-Basta, Leann Woerner, Sharon Schissler, and Kathy Germuth; and nephew Rodney Woerner. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Shipley, who she was a long time member of Boumi Shrine Temple with and were active members of the Boumi Clowns and Clownettes; parents, Florence and Wilbur Woerner, Sr.; brothers, Wilbur, Jr., Earl, and Richard; and sisters the late Dorothy Litton-Harper and Florence Watson. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Wednesday, January 17th from 9 AM to 10 AM. A memorial service will begin at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Maryland Veteran Cemetery of Crownsville.
