Preston Glass, Jr.

Preston S. Glass Jr, 78 of Baltimore MD passed away at Saint Agnes Hospital on January 16, 2020. Mr. Glass was born in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of the late Preston Stanley Glass Sr and Virginia Alice Becraft.

Surviving are his beloved companion Sarah Welzenbach; son Robert P. Glass and his wife Marian L Glass of Pylesville MD; daughter Michelle Glass of Hancock MD; his sister Cindy Thomas of Texas; and brother Harry Edward Glass of Florida; caring step father of Annette Welzenbach & Tammy Fulton; and dear grandfather of numerous grandchildren.

Preston S. Glass worked for the Union Carpenter’s Union Local 101, and he used these skills often to help family and friends. He enjoyed a wood carving class which led him to carve many birds, tree spirits and fairy houses to name a few; and always being up for a new challenge he put his hands to stain glass projects too. He also enjoyed camping, back packing, hiking, seeing the ocean and trains.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th from 12:00 noon till 2:00p.m. at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227. Interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore MD 21229.
