On September 23, 2012, Paul E. August, Sr. "Poppie" pased away. He was the beloved husband of the late Viola August (nee Panon); loving father of Anthony G. August, Sr., Paula Helminger and her husband Charles, Paul E. August, Jr. and his wife Kim, and the late Mary Carol Merkson; cherished "Poppie" of Sharon and Ray, Anthony, Jr., Tanya, Bill, Charlie, Mary and Rocky, Brie and J.B., Paulie and Kate, Matt, the late James, and the late Christopher. Great grandmother of 11, one on the way, and one great great granddaughter; beloved companion of the late Jean Bezold; dear brother of Mary and Howard, Leonard and June, the late Jim, the late Regina, the late Richard, and the late Robert.
There will be a public viewing held for Paul at our Arbutus location on Wednesday, September 26 from 3 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Monastery Parish, 3801 Old Frederick Rd., Baltimore on Thursday, September 27 at 10 AM.
Interment will take place at Baltimore National Cemetery on Monday, October 1 at 10:30 AM.
