Patrick Donald Kernan, age 49, affectionately known as “Pat” passed away on May 16, 2016 in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on June 21, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland to Jo Ann E. Kernan (nee Degen) and the late James W. Kernan, Sr.; beloved father of Lindsey E. Kernan and Christopher J. Kernan; cherished grandfather of Gage L. Mercier and Huxley J. Allison; dear brother of Joseph A. Kernan, Karen E. McConville, and the late James W. Kernan, Jr.; caring former husband of Gretchen Kernan the devoted mother of his loving children. Also, survived by other loving family members and friends.
To know Pat was to love Pat. He was a Mount Man. He graduated from Mount Saint Joseph with honors. Pat loved to play the electric and acoustic guitar.
Family members and friends will honor Pat’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., (ARBUTUS) on Wednesday, 6/8/16 with a public visitation from 10am-12pm where a memorial service will immediately follow beginning at 12pm. Interment to follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
