Norman Thiele

Norman Randolph “ Randy” Thiele, age 85, of Berkeley Springs, WV, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs, WV.
Born October 14, 1929, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Adolphus and Margaret Mary Heinzerling Thiele.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs. He attended Lansdowne School in MD. Randy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore as the grounds foreman. He was a member of the Howard Lodge # 101 A.F. & A.M. in Elkridge, MD, the Boumi Shriners Temple and the Scottish Rite both in Baltimore, MD. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and working in the yard.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, June Fromm Aleshire Thiele at home, three daughters, Lynn Wolfe of Pasadena, MD, Cheryl Eichelberger of Miles City, MT and Randa Thiele of Port Deposit, MD, one sister, Mary Warren of Pasadena, MD and four grandchildren, Joel Wolfe, Jr. of Pasadena, MD, Ernest Parlier of Lewisburg, PA, Daniel Eichelberger and Kayla Miller both of MT, three great grandchildren, Madison Eichelberger of Berkeley Springs, Mastin Parlier and Shelby Parlier both of NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Thiele.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV and on Monday 5-8 p.m. at Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 13228 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Ambrose Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1328 Sulphur Springs Road, Arbutus, MD with the Pastor Douglas Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park in Sykesville, MD.
