Norma Lee Pulley, aged 77, passed away on March 7, 2016 in Dothan, Alabama. She was born December 15, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, to Clinton Barlow and Virginia Hartman. Norma worked in her uncle’s hardware store for many years. Following her retirement from Arbutus Hardware, she began cleaning homes. She was well loved by her family and friends. Norma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always looked for the good in people. Once you met her, you never forgot her. Norma was a devoted and faithful church member.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank William Pulley, Sr.; her son Frank William Pulley, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Maddison Snead.
Surviving relatives include; step-mom Evelyn Barlow; two brothers, Clinton Barlow and Ron Barlow; one sister, Estelle Kegley; one son, John Pulley, Sr.; two daughters, Catherine Widener and Roxanne Payne; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A remembrance service to honor the life of Norma will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Road Arbutus, MD 21227 on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A church service will be held at 11 am at the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 1200 Linden Ave. Arbutus, MD 21227 on Saturday, March 19, 2016. A graveside service will immediately follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7215 Ritchie Highway Glen Burnie, MD.
