Morton Orndorff
July 14, 1927 — January 4, 2015
Morton D. Orndorff ‘Mort’, age 87, passed away on January 4, 2015. He is the beloved husband of the late Judith Orndorff; loving father of Richard Lee Orndorff and Joseph David Orndorff; caring grandfather of Kelly Marie Orndorff, Richard Lee Orndorff II, Sarah Elizabeth Orndorff, David Joseph Orndorff, and Christopher Lawrence Orndorff and father-in-law to Eileen Orndorff and Carol Orndorff. Mort is also preceded in death by his twin daughters, Elizabeth and Barbara Orndorff. Mort was employed by the Maryland State Government where he was in the Retail Tax Division as a field auditor. In 1986 Mort retired as a Supervisor.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Thursday, January 8th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 9th at 10am followed by burial in Baltimore National Cemetery.
