Michael “Mikey” Va’Shon Campbell was born on December 12, 1994 to Cheryl and Michael Campbell in the Bronx, New York and was the youngest of five.
Mikey attended George Wythe Hugh School in Richmond, VA and received his GED in 2012. Because of his love for science and deep interest in how things work, he furthered his education at Lincoln College of Technology earning a degree in “Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology.
Mikey was an extremely sweet, smart, charismatic and unique individual who was way ahead of his time and leaves a huge void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Mikey is survived by his four siblings, Quintay, Big Dayeshawn, Bryant, and Little Dashawn, nephews Jonell, Bryson and Kai, nieces Dyemond, Jade, Jaliya and Amani (Destiny), God parents Barshiem and Demarous “Rose” and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mikey’s time on Earth may have been short, but he will always be remembered for the love and laughs he brought to those around him. May you rest in peace Baby Boy and know that you will live on in the hearts of those you touched.
We will love you forever,
Your family
