Michael R. Hughes, Jr., age 52, unexpectedly passed away on July 1, 2016 in Halethorpe, Maryland. Michael was born on May 30, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland to Michael R. Hughes, Sr. and Betty I. Hughes; loving brother of Sharon L. Gerwig and her husband William, Michele C. Hill and her husband Shawn, and Judith C. Hughes and her late fiancé Jose Mejia; cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will honor Michael’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 with a public viewing on Tuesday, 7/5/16 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will follow beginning at 8pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers at the family’s request donations in Michael’s memory may be directed to the family to offset the funeral expense.
