Patricia Kirilloff (nee Panasuk), a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on September 28th, 2020 (age 77) in Whitehall (Pittsburgh), PA. Patricia was born and raised in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore, MD. She was a devout Christian, a caring teacher (loved by her students), a matushka, a friend to all living creatures (great and small), and the world’s best Baba. As a child, Patricia was a self-proclaimed tomboy; she enjoyed reading comics, watching westerns at Saturday matinees, and playing pinky ball. She was an artist, an archery champion, a softball player, and her son’s first baseball coach. Patricia was modest and shy, never realizing the positive impact she had on those around her. She was kind, generous, and selfless. She fed the birds and sang to her fish; she taught her family that every living creature is a blessing. Nothing made her happier than to make others feel loved. It brought Patricia great joy to give thoughtful gifts and beautiful cards. She always made holidays special. She loved spending time with her daughter and granddaughter, dark chocolate, and being Russian Orthodox. She had a wonderful sense of humor (we will miss her beautiful smile). She had a passionate love of God’s word and an appreciation for natural beauty. She saw wonder in small things. She was a witness for Christ and a testament to God’s love.
Patricia leaves behind her loving daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Patrick Kenny; son and daughter-in-law, David and Laura Kirilloff; grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, Gabi and Gregory Porter, Alex and Jordan Kirilloff, Sophia and John Burgo; two great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, John and Beverly Panasuk, Jr.. Services are to be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Chapel at the Cathedral Gardens Cemetery in Elkton, MD.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael and her parents John and Sophie Panasuk.
