Mary Stickel

Mary Lucille Stickel, age 96, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2021. Lucy was born in Huntington, West Virginia but grew up in St. Albans, West Virginia. Lucy lived in Lansdowne for over 60 years and worked at Westinghouse for 44 years. She is the beloved mother of Karen Stickel; loving aunt of Betty & Tony Wartenburg, Bruce & Janet Peters, Dixie & Bill Carter, Roger & Vanessa Peters, & Paul Peters; dear longtime friend of Vickie & Jack Freeman. Lucy is predeceased by her mother, Martha Ennis (nee Dean) & her sister Inez Peters. Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Tuesday, December 28 from 3:00-5:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 29 at 11:00am.
