Mary Somers

Mary Frances Somers, age 89, passed away on December 19, 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born on September 26, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ellen Sheckells and to the late Harry Sheckells. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Earl Somers; loving mother of Danny Somers and his late wife Sharon, Phyllis Frances Shipley and her husband Joseph Aikens, Sr., Mary Sharp and her husband Robert, Jr. and Michael Leslie Somers and his wife Debbie; cherished grandmother of Dana, Michael, Tina, Zachariah, Joseph, Freddie, Danny, Robert, III, Kimberly Ann, Steven and Katherine and great grandmother of six grandchildren. Mary is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Family members and friends will honor Mary’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE with a public viewing on Saturday, 12/22/2018 from 10am-12pm where a funeral service will follow beginning at 12pm. Interment to follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
