Mary Hodge
April 30, 1925 — December 7, 2013
On Dec. 7, 2013 Mary H. Hodge passed away. She had lived in her residence in North Linthicum for 60 yrs. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph H. Hodge; loving mother of Debbie (and husband Mike) Hewes (of Linthicum, MD), Mary Jo (and husband Doug) Reed (of Mercerburg, PA); Grandmother of Eddie Engles, Jamie and Anne Engles, Sarah and Chris Newton, and Joseph Clemens; Great Grandmother of Lilyanne Newton, and Jackson Engles; Sister-in-law of Katherine Rachuba, Patricia Aylmer, and Timothy Hodge.
Mary was an avid gardener, and basket maker. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and extensive travels. She retired from the Anne Arundel County Public Library, and had special love and devotion for her grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may visit at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Tuesday (December 10, 2013) from 3-5 and 7-9pm, where a Funeral Service will be held Wed. at 11:00am (December 11, 2013).
