Mary Councilman

Mary Clara Councilman, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2017. She is the beloved wife of Harvey Councilman; devoted mother of Michael Councilman and his wife Edith, Mary Susan Prahme, the late Mark Timothy Councilman and his wife Jody, and Theresa Ann Ringgold and Denny Kirby; loving grandmother of Theresa Bailey, James Councilman and his wife Sarah, Timothy Nevins, and Kenneth Nevins; caring sister of Barbara Kane and her late husband Francis and the late Constance Clark and her husband David. Mary is also survived by her dearest friend Marian Miller and many other family members and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Friday, March 3 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clement I Catholic Church, 2700 Washington Blvd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Saturday at 10am followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Mary’s memory to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
