Mary Louise Bowers, age 87, passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2017 surrounded by the wonderful staff of Fair Haven Assisted Living home in Hanover Pennsylvania. Mary was born in Baltimore and resided in Arbutus Maryland until she moved to Rehobeth Beach Delaware for retirement. Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, supportive grandmother, doting great grandmother, and caring friend. Mary loved football, baseball, golf, cooking, and spending time with family. She touched many lives and was loved by all that met her.

Mary joins her husband Charles Melvin Bowers in heaven. Mary is Survived by daughter Debbie Langrill and son in law George Langrill, daughter Cindy Parr and son in law Craig Parr, son David Bowers and family. Granddaughter Carla Godman and husband William Godman ,grandson Eric Langrill and wife Lynn Langrill, grandson Ethan Langrill and wife Sally Langrill, grandson Charles Busch and wife Dawn Busch, granddaughter Casey Bloomer and husband Eric Bloomer. Great grandchildren Heather Keilholtz, Timothy Godman, Kyle Langrill, Alyssa Godman, Kaylyn Godman, Kristen Langrill, Abby Bloomer, Tyler Batts, Gavin Batts, Justin Godman, Jake Langrill, Mason Busch, Ryder Langrill, and Madison Busch. And Great great granddaughter Mackenzie Houck. Even though she has flown away in our hearts she will forever stay.

"I just wanted to let you know that I made it home.
The journey wasn’t an easy one, but it didn’t take too long.

Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new
I wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too.

Please try not to be sad for me.
Try to understand God is taking care of me… I’m in the shelter of His hands.

Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain.
Here there is no crying and I’ll never hurt again.

Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing.
I really have to go for now… I’ve just got to try my wings."
