Marlyn Ruth Palecek

Marlyn Palecek, age 89 and a resident of Inspirations Assisted Living community in Linthicum, passed away on Saturday, February 8th. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Bailey (Dana) and Angela Trietley (Michael); six grandchildren, Cassandra Bailey, Nick Bailey, Nathan Bailey, Michael Trietley, Christopher Trietley, and Emily Trietley; sister Margaret Sigmon and brother Donald Frock; and niece and nephew, Lynne Bare and John Sigmon. Marlyn was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Edward Palecek, her identical twin sister Elizabeth “Betty” Frock and her brother William Frock Jr. and parents Dorothy and William Frock Sr.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Sunday, February 16 from 2pm – 6pm. A funeral mass will take place Monday at 10am at Ascension Catholic Church. A private family burial will take place at Lorraine Park in Woodlawn.
