Marie Franz

On October 13th, 2018, Marie Ann Franz (nee Mundorf), graduate from St. Joseph's Monastery in 1947, where she was May Queen that year. Also graduated from Seton High School in 1951. Beloved wife of James M. Franz, cherished mother of Christine M. Simpkins (Douglas), Lorraine M. Parsons (Allen), Regina M. Campbell (Curtis), Jennifer M. Franz, Bernadette M. Lander (Donald), Martin J. Franz, and the late Daniel J. Franz (Arlene); and also devoted sister of Michele Wheeler and the late Benjamin R. Mundorf (Bettie), treasured grandmother of 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Wednesday, October 17th from 3 PM to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Joseph's Monastery, 3801 Old Frederick Rd., Baltimore on Thursday, October 18th at 11 AM. Cremation to be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's name may be made to The National Kidney Foundation, 1301 York Rd., Ste. 209, Lutherville, MD 21093.
